On arrival at Delhi airport, received by our executive and transfer to hotel to get refreshed and later leave for half day excursion of Delhi- the national capital of India.
  • Red fort: located in old Delhi, a neighborhood dating to the 1600s hosts the imposing mughal era Red fort. Emperor Shah Jahan commissioned the construction of Red fort on 12 May 1638, when he decided to shift his capital from Agra to Delhi. The first prime minister of India Jawahar Lal Nehru hoisted the national flag of independent India at Red fort and since then on every 15th August the prime minister of India hoists the national flag of India at Red fort and delivers the speech.
Nearby is Chandani Chowk a vibrant & famous market filled by food carts with several delicacies, sweet shops and spice stalls with variety of spices on offer. NOTE: - Red fort is closed on Monday.
  • India gate: official name Delhi memorial, originally called All India War Memorial is a sandstone monumental arch in New Delhi, dedicated to Indo- British troops of India who died in the war fought between 1914 and 1919. India gate is located at the eastern end of Kartavya Pat (formerly known as Rajpath) is 138 ft. (42 mtrs.) in height with the names of soldiers engraved on it.
  • National Museum: the foundation of the present day building was laid by Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru on 12 May 1955. The museum presently hosts approx. 2, 00,000 artifacts of various categories from India as well as foreign countries. The artifacts hosted here are covering a time span of 5,000 years of Indian culture and heritage.
NOTE: National Museum is closed on Monday. Qutab Minar: is a UNESCO world heritage site in the Mehrauli area of south Delhi. It is a victory tower of 73 mtrs in height built in 1193 by Qutab- ud- din Aibak. The inscription at the eastern gate tells the story of Qutab Minar being built by the materials obtained from destruction of 27 Hindu and Jain temples.
After breakfast in the morning check- out from the hotel and leave for Agra- the city of Taj. Upon arrival go directly to the hotel & check in to get refreshed. After getting refreshed, go and visit the wonder of the world Taj Mahal.
  • Taj Mahal: the Taj MahalCrown of the Palace’ is an ivory white marble mausoleum on the bank of river Yamuna in the city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his favorite wife Mumtaz. The monument is a centerpiece of 17 hectare (42 acre) complex which includes a mosque, a guest house and gardens bounded on three sides by walls.
NOTE: Taj Mahal remains closed on Friday.
  • Agra Fort: is a fort of historical importance as it was the main residence of emperors in Mughal dynasty till 1638 until the capital was shifted to Delhi from Agra. The Agra Fort is a UNESCO world heritage site located at a distance of 2.5 kms from the world famous and its sister monument Taj Mahal.
After the visit of the Taj Mahal & Agra fort explore the local markets of Agra & in the evening return back to the hotel for overnight stay with dinner.
After breakfast in the morning leave for Jaipur- the pink city with en- route visit to Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival at Jaipur go to the hotel directly for dinner and overnight stay.
  • Fatehpur Sikri: located at distance of 37 kms from Agra is a city in red sand stones built by the mughal emperor Jalal- ud- din Mohammad Akbar in the honor of Saint Seikh Salim Chisti. Fatehpur Sikri is enclosed by walls spanning 11 kms with several gateways. The Fatehpur Sikri was built during 1571- 1585
Jaipur: The capital city of Rajasthan. Founded in AD 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II is popularly also known as Pink City with broad avenues and a spacious garden, the city is steeped in history and culture. In Jaipur the past comes alive with magnificent forts and palaces where once lived the royal families. The hustling bustling markets of Jaipur is a treasure trove for shoppers. The bazaars of Jaipur are famous for jewellery, fabrics and shoes with timeless quality.
After breakfast in the morning go for full day excursion of Jaipur with visit to various key places of interest in and around Jaipur.
  • Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace): literally the Palace of Winds was built using pink sand stones in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh is the most recognizable monument of Jaipur. The unique five storied building with small latticed windows (Jharokha) is a blend of Hindu and Islamic architecture. It was originally designed for the Royal ladies to watch and enjoy the processions and other activities on the street below.
  • Amer Fort: Amber (pronounce as Amer) is seven centuries old with legendary past and located at a distance of 11 kms from Jaipur is a UNESCO world heritage site. Raja Maan Singh I commissioned the construction in 1592 as a strong and safe heaven against the attacking enemies was completed by Mirja Raja Jai Singh. Made with red sandstones and white marble, visitors are left spellbound by the magnificence of use carvings, precious stones and mirrors with a surprising contrast of harsh exterior. The splendor of the place is enhanced with the breath- taking view of the Maota Lake in front of the Palace.
  • Jal Mahal: although there is no official record of the exact period of its origin but legends it was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh with an idea of a palace as his hunting lodge for his shooting adventures but not as a palace to stay. The origin of the lake can also attributed to him as it was formed when a dam was constructed between the Hills which led to formation of the lake.
  • City Palace: located within the walled city, the city palace was commissioned and built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II the founder of Jaipur. A beautiful fusion of Rajput and Mughal architecture is still home to the last ruling royal family living in a private section of the Palace. The city palace complex consist of Diwan- E- Aam (Hall of public audience), Diwan- E- Khas (Hall of private audience), Mubarak Mahal (Hall of reception), and the Maharani’s Palace (the palace of the queen). Mubarak Mahal now hosts the Maharaja Sawai Maan Singh II museum and displays a vast and unique collection of royal belongings. The Maharani Palace now hosts the surprising and interesting Rajput weaponry. Apart from hosting the royal belongings & weaponry, the palace is also adorned with beautiful and magnificent paintings on the ceilings of the palace which are well maintained.
  • Jantar Mantar: is biggest among the seven astronomical observatories built by Maharaja Sawai Maan Singh II and is also a UNESCO world heritage site. It consists of sixteen geometric devices designed to measure time, track celestial bodies and observe the orbits of planets around the sun. it also houses an interpretation center which helps the visitors to understand the working principles and chronology of the observatory.
In the evening you can visit Bapu Bazar, located in the center of the city of Jaipur between the Sanganer Gate and New Gate. It is a one stop destination for shopping lovers where you can find the all kind of accessories ranging from Jewelries, handlooms, shoes, antiques, precious stones and artifacts. Later in the evening return to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
After breakfast in the morning, check- out from the hotel and leave for Jaipur airport to timely drop and depart for onward journey.
